Floor Plan Importer

The Floor Plan Importer is a Fabric item that turns architectural CAD floor plans into georeferenced, map-ready indoor data.

What it does

• Input: a floor plan in DXF or SVG format, from your OneLake.
• Output: georeferenced GeoJSON and IMDF (Indoor Mapping Data Format), written back to OneLake.

The importer positions the plan on the real world so rooms, walls, and spaces line up with their true location.

Using the result on a map

A Shapes from file layer can consume a Floor Plan Importer's output directly: walls render as static reference while rooms bind to your data, so you can, for example, color rooms by occupancy, temperature, or utilization. IMDF output also gives you a floor picker for multi-level buildings.
